Visiting Teaching

In our church, we have a wonderful program called Visiting Teaching. Each woman who would like to is assigned a partner and 2-3 ladies to visit each month. It is a great opportunity for us to get to know other women, visit them in their homes and leave a short gospel message with them. The goal is that each woman in the church will have a visit each month. I have really enjoyed being a visiting teacher!

Twice a year, we have Visiting Teaching interviews. A time to touch base with Relief Society leaders and discuss any problems, concerns, or just let them know how the ladies we visit are doing. The interviews were this morning and they came up with such a cute idea that I had to share it!

The theme was "Sonic Size Your Visiting Teaching"...

As we pulled into the parking lot, we were met with a "SONIC" themed set up.

We were given a Sonic bag filled with caramel popcorn, a bottle of water, Sonic mints, a cd with instrumental church music and some handouts. (No tater tots...sad! lol)

Then a member of the Relief Society Presidency hopped in the car with us.

We had our interview as we drove slowly around the church building. On the other side, we let them out and they were off to another interview!

Here is our cute Relief Society Presidency, all decked out for a day of interviews!

It was cute, fun and fast! A FAB idea...right?!?
