I mean rustic...RUSTIC dinner!
Navajo Tacos! I am pretty hit or miss with the fried bread. Tonight was a miss. I didn't have the right kind of flour, so the bread turned out flat and chewy, as opposed to light and fluffy. Oh well! I topped the bread with a can of "Ranch Style" beans, cheese, onions and lettuce. Fairly yummy! I also made a plain piece for everyone to eat with honey. What is it about frying stuff that makes it taste so good?
My ex husband's new ex wife just moved here to Arizona. (We've been very friendly for YEARS. It's just easier and more pleasant that way.) I'm going to have her over to teach me how to make "authentic" fried bread. If you want to come learn, let me know and I'll set it up!
