Quite A Day

This morning, we woke up early to an email telling us that Dave's brother and his wife were in a rollover accident last night. (There was some nasty, snowy weather in Northern Arizona.) Ken was fine, but Jean was life flighted to a hospital in Scottsdale. She has broken her right arm in 4 or 5 spots and crushed her elbow on the left arm. They are planning surgery on both arms in the next few days. After she is out of casts, they are predicting limited movement in her arms. As she is a fantastic crafter, we are hoping for a full recovery so she can continue on with her many talents. They are both very lucky to be alive. We are grateful they are ok.

Here are some pics of the boys from today...

Let me know if there is anything I can. His dave going to the hospital to give blessings? You and your family will be in my prayers.

Here is a prayer that she will heal completely. Scary!

I hope she heals quickly and I'm glad they are safe now.

Very very worrisome. Is this the mother of the nephew you are watching? Oh dear....my prayers without delay for that couple...

Thank God they survived....it could have been a much more tragic outcome.

May our Lord protect and safeguard all who get behind the wheel....

The photos of the boys are full of life and exhuberance...it seems that things have improved for you since the post of a few days ago...

Erica! I'm back in the blogging world full force. After having a horrible first week here(I will blog about it soon) and finally getting internet, I have some sanity again. Thanks for all your comments on my blog. Your my stellar commenter - better than my own family! You blog looks darling and it looks like you're doing well among some crazy things. I'm glad your nephew got to stay with you. Will it be permanent in the future? Tell everyone we miss them and the ward.

Hello Erika! Thanks for commenting on my blog! I wanted to tell you on Sunday that I really enjoyed your talk. It was very sincere. How have you been? I surely do miss you as my visiting teacher. I'm sorry to hear about that car accident. Good grief! That is way too scary!
I am sorry to be writing this on a blog comment, but I don't have your correct email address so here goes. I am hosting a Sashay Jewelry party at my house on Thursday night for Kristen Leonard from 6:30-8:30 if you would like to come. I have invited half the ward, so even if you want to come for food and a hang out and don't buy a thing that's okay. I never buy at parties because I am too cheap. Anyway, if you can't come that is 100% okay too, I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you and would love to see you. I hope you have a great day and I hope that your family is okay.
